August 4, 2009, Como Park Pavillion, St Paul

A number of choruses from the region performed at Como Park Pavilion on the evening of August 4th, and members of Zumbro Valley chorus were in attendance. Jan Hoffman, president of our chorus, writes:

"WOW! What an awesome, awesome evening. There were 13 Zumbro Valley chorus members who attended this fantastic "Harmony Explosion" event at Como Park Pavilion.

It was just a gorgeous evening. The weather was sunny, 78 degrees and a nice gentle breeze coming across the lake. By the end of the evening the sun was going down with a shadow on the lake iluminating on a tall building across the lake and the almost full moon rising in the eastern sky. I am just thrilled that I was able to be one of the members to have been a part of this event. They are planning on this being an annual event."
